Actor-turned-director
Sudeep
has
come
down
heavily
on
the
media.
He
is
deeply
upset
with
the
reviewers'
partiality
in
rating
his
movie
Kichcha
Huchcha
and
Puneet
Rajkumar
starrer
Jackie.
On
Saturday
morning,
he
took
on
the
film
critics
on
Twitter
and
raised
his
doubt
whether
these
critics
are
scared
or
slaves
of
anyone.
Several
film
critics
have
given
rave
reviews
to
Puneet
Rajkumar
and
Bhavana's
movie
Jackie
and
gave
4*.
However,
his
film
Kichcha
Huchcha
has
been
rated
just
3.5*
despite
good
opinion.
On
Saturday
early
morning,
Sudeep
tweeted,
"I'm
amused
with
the
way
few
from
press
called
me
and
gave
a
pathetic
opinion
about
'J'
(Jackie)
and
yet
gave
a
4*,
praised
'KH'
(Kichcha
Huchcha)
and
gave
3
and
half
*,
slavery
or
scared."
Jackie
is
a
much-hyped
movie
and
the
bosses
had
promoted
it
very
well.
Even
different
channels
of
media
had
given
it
a
big
boost
right
from
day
one
of
its
shooting.
Whereas
Kichcha
Huchcha
is
a
long-delayed
film.
Despite
Sudeep
being
a
popular
Sandalwood
star,
the
media
has
not
focused
on
his
film
Kichcha
Huchcha
much.
The
reason
seems
to
be
just
because
it
is
a
remake
of
Tamil
movie.
But
this
has
irked
Sudeep
a
lot.
He
is
very
much
disappointed
with
this
kind
of
double
standard
attitude
of
the
media.
In
an
interview
to
Chitraloka.com,
Sudeep
had
openly
condemned
a
few
people
in
the
film
industry
over
classifying
films
as
big
and
small.
"This
is
purely
an
industry
perception
and
the
film
fans
do
not
share
this
view.
For
them,
any
film
that
they
can
enjoy
is
a
big
film
however
small
it
may
look
to
the
industry
people.
And
despite
boasting
a
huge
star
cast
and
big
budget,
any
film
that
does
not
reach
our
fans
is
a
smaller
film
according
to
the
people.
That
will
be
determined
only
after
a
film
gets
released," the
popular
movie
portal
Chitraloka.com
quoted
Sudeep
as
saying.
Earlier
this
year,
Kicha
Sudeep
was
not
happy
with
the
response
of
his
film
Just
Maath
Maathalli.
The
movie
had
a
good
collection
at
the
box
office,
but
it
was
not
up
to
his
expectation.
It
was
an
original
film
and
Kicha
had
put
his
heart
and
soul
in
writing
story,
screenplay
and
dialogues
besides
directing
it.
So,
he
expected
it
to
get
big
bucks.
On
Saturday,
he
further
tweeted,
"(I)
connected
my
heart
to
my
profession,
(now
it's)
time
to
get
it
disconnected
and
connect
my
brains."
As
Sudeep
opines,
the
future
of
a
movie
is
decided
by
the
viewers.
The
media
is
not
fully
responsible
for
the
success
of
a
film.
So,
there
is
no
need
for
Kicha
to
worry
about
the
treatment
of
the
media.
Anyway,
both
Jackie
and
Kichcha
Huchcha
have
been
released
on
14th
and
15th
October
respectively.
Now,
ball
is
in
the
court
of
the
audience.
Let
them
decided
the
fate
of
both
film!
