Constructing
a
studio
for
Kannada
film
industry
has
almost
been
almost
like
a
dream
for
a
long
time.
Now,
producer
K
Manju,
who
is
all
set
to
release
his
latest
movie
Kichcha
Huchcha,
is
planning
to
fulfill
that
almost
impossible
dream.
The
producer
has
shown
interest
in
coming
up
with
a
full-fledged
film
studio
for
Sandalwood
films.
During
the
mid
80"s,
former
chief
minister
Ramakrishna
Hegde
gave
350
acres
of
land
at
Hesaraghatta
for
film
city,
which
is
still
not
utilized.
Nothing
was
done
at
that
place
even
though
many
bigwigs
tried
their
hands.
HD
Gangaraj,
the
former
KFCC
President
and
distributor
expressed
his
desire
a
year
ago
to
build
a
studio
at
a
nearby
place
in
Bangalore
but
that
also
got
postponed.
K
Manju
possesses
eight
acres
of
land
on
Banneraghatta
Road
and
he
is
planning
to
utilize
this
land
to
construct
a
studio
jointly
with
his
friend.
The
producer
said
that
he
is
very
upset
that
they
do
not
easily
get
proper
locations
here
for
shooting
purpose.
He
had
to
struggle
hard
to
get
Surabhi
farm,
which
is
65
kilometers
away
from
city
and
it
is
a
trouble
for
the
cast
and
crew
to
travel
such
long
distance
every
day.
K
Manju
said
that
he
wanted
to
construct
his
own
state-of-the-art
studio
only
to
get
rid
of
all
these
problems.
If
the
producer"s
dream
gets
fulfilled,
it
will
be
a
boon
for
Kannada
Film
Industry.
