Mr Garagasa goes for a Tamil remake

Director Dinesh Baboo, who set a record of sorts after completing the shooting of the film Mr. Garagasa in only nine days, has now discussed his plans of remaking it in Tamil. The Tamil remake will go on floors in February. The inspiration for Mr. Garagasa happens to be the Hindi film, Bheja Fry. The film was itself inspired by French film, Dinner Game.

Baboo, who has worked with the likes of Dr. Vishnuvardhana and Suhasini Manirathnam, was suffering from a knee ailment. He was undergoing treatment for the same which is why he was away from Bangalore at the time of Vishnuvardhana"s sudden demise.
