Munirathna V/S Shanthala

Producer Munirathna Naidu and actress Shanthala are both contesting for elections to the Bangalore City Corporation and are pitted against each other. The election is scheduled for the 28th of March.

Munirathna Naidu is known for his works Aunty Preethse, Raktha Kanneeru, Kambala Halli, etc. and is also a contractor of city roads. He happens to be a close relative of popular producer Rockline Venkatesh.

Shanthala got famous after her role in Legendary director Puttana Kanagal's Paduvara Halli Pandavaru. She is a rather renowned theatre artiste. She will be contesting from the JDS party in the corporation election.
