Nanjangud Nanjunda gets clean chit from Censor

Kannada film Nanjangud Nanjunda has got 'U/A" certificate from the Karntaka Regional Censor Board. Surprisingly, the movie has got a Universal certificate, even when it deals with such a subject as a man questioning his wife"s fidelity. The censor board has awarded a clean chit to the film.

The movie has been produced by debutants Subash Coorg and VK Jindal under the banner of Amith Productions. Nanjangud Nanjunda, which stars Ravi Shankar and Hamsini in lead roles, broadly falls under the genre of comedy and it is a remake of a Tamil film called Dindigal Sarathy.

Srinivas Prasad, the director of the mythological film 'Prachanda Ravana", has directed Nanjangud Nanjunda. This is going to be his debut commercial venture. The movie has a total of five songs in its music album and deals with both humorous and emotional issues.

The film is shot in places like Mysore, Madikeri, Srirangapatna KR Sagara, Pandavapura and in the city of Nanjangud, from where it has derived its name. The star cast of Nanjangud Nanjunda includes Hamsini, KSL Swamee, Jai Jagadish Nagaraja Kote and others. KV Ravichandran is the music director while R Giri is the man behind the camera work.
