Sudeep-PN Sathya’s second film stalled

Director PN Sathya has earlier worked with actor Sudeep in the film Gooli. Now, his second film with him has reportedly been stalled temporarily after the producer N Kumar, who is a co-producer of Shri Harikathe, indefinitely postponed the project. According to sources, the producer is citing the long shooting schedule for delaying the film.

The film is a remake of Ravi Teja-Ileana's Telugu film Kick. Sudeep plays the lead and Praneetha Subhash, who debuted through Darshan's Porki, appears his live interest in the film, which would be directed by PN Sathya and produced by N Kumar. In December 2009, it was reported that it would start shooting from January 1.

Now, director PN Sathya, who had holed up in a hotel room for four months to work on the project, is said to be very upset over not being paid for his efforts. Sources claim that N Kumar has not paid a single rupee for the efforts of the four months. However, it is said that the producer wanted to change the director, but Sudeep did not accept his idea.
