Ever since the success of her debut movie Mungaru Male, actress Pooja Gandhi has been finding some or the other way to hit headlines. Now, the Sandalwood babe is back in news after she has been selected as the Ambassador for the Bangalore team in Indian Blind Cricket League (IBCL), which is all set to start in Bangalore on May 24, 2010. When everyone is after Indian Premiere league (IPL), this actress is busy preparing for the IBCL.
Talking about the IBCL, Pooja Gandhi says that she has joined hands with Bangalore team in order to develop and encourage Blind Cricket. “I recently met the team, which returned to Bangalore after finishing their match in Gujarat. I was carried over by the kind of confidence the team has. All the players are really talented and there is so much to learn from them," says the actress.
“I accepted offer to represent the Bangalore team after seeing the power and compatibility of its players. I"ll stay with the team till the end of the IBCL tournament and encourage the team. The tournament is held between eight teams and the final match will be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore," adds the actress.
However, Pooja Gandhi says that she has become very choosy after tasting the failure one after another in 2009. Currently, she is busy with the movie like Nee, Kalidasa Lovalli Bidda, Vega, Tavarina Runa and Rani Maharani. Besides Kannada, she has also signed a few movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
