Puneet as Jackie in Nadodigal remake

Hotshot Kannada director Soori is working on the remake of the successful Tamil hit movie Nadodigal. Puneet Rajkumar has been signed for the lead role in this movie. The Movie will be produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar, under Puneet"s own production banner Vajreshwari Combines.

According to the sources, ten days of the talkie portion and three songs are yet to be shot. Soori said that the locations of the songs have not been decided on so far. Two of them will be shot abroad but have not been finalized. The director confirms that major portions of the film have been completed and further admits that the exceptionally brilliant actor will be shown in a new avatar with voice modulations. He said that he wrote the script with Puneet in mind.

Puneet has also praised Soori for his open-minded approach to the cinema. He said that it was very easy to discuss things with Soori and had enough space for exchanging ideas. He appreciates the fact that he didn"t have to compromise and they could convince each other about their stand instead. Puneet admitted that Soori"s technical team was an added advantage. They hope to complete the shooting portions by the month of August.

Beautiful actress Bhavana is making her debut in Kannada with this film. Jackie is a story of a rough and tough guy, who can be trusted in any situation. He is a very naughty character, yet very honest, describes the director.

The film has been shot on the scenic locations of Bangalore, Mysore, and Gujarat. V.Harikrishna is scoring the music for the film and Sathya Hegde is its cameraman. The film has raised great expectations as the hit director of 'Duniya" joins hands with the power star, to remake another super hit.
