unveiled
Aaptha
Rakshaka
DVD/VCD
yesterday
evening
(25th
November)
at
the
Reliance
TimeOut
store.
The
evening
witnessed
a
huge
gathering
of
fans
at
the
launch
of
this
special
movie
DVD/VCD
starring
Vishnuvardhan,
the
last
movie
of
his
lifetime.
Initially,
during
the
release
of
the
movie
in
theaters,
it
witnessed
a
grand
opening
as
fans
thronged
theatres
across
released
centres
resulting
in
huge
collections
of
money.
It
is
believed
that,
now
when
the
DVDs
and
VCDs
are
launched,
the
fans
of
veteran
Vishnuvardhan
will
get
a

opportunity
to

the
movie
as

Aaptha
Rakshaka
is
a
2010
Kannada
film
starring
Vishnuvardhan
in
his
200th
and
last
film
along
with
Sandhya,
Vimala
Raman,
Avinash,
Srinivasa
Murthy,
Bhavana,
Lakshmi
Gopalaswamy
and
Komal
Kumar
among
others.
The
film
is
written
and
directed
by
P.
Vasu
and
is
a
sequel
to
the
2004
blockbuster
film
Apthamitra
that
was
directed
by
Vasu
and
starred
Vishnuvardhan
as
well.
The
film
was
released
on
February
19,
2010
to
highly
positive
reviews.
Vishnuvardhan"s
performance
was
highly
praised.
Gurukiran's
background
score
also
succeed
in
creating
the
desired
affect.Vimala
Raman
has
been
praised
for
her
dancing
skills
as
well
as
her
acting
in

role
