Actor-cum-director
Ramesh
Aravind
has
slammed
the
reports
of
making
a
movie
on
Nithyananda
stating
that
his
next
movie
Samayananda
is
about
a
godmen,
but
it
is
not
based
on
Swami
Nithyananda"s
life.
The
rumours
started
making
round
in
Gandhinagar
immediately
after
he
announced
his
next
project.
The
film
will
be
directed
by
Gajendra
Achar
and
will
go
on
the
floors
in
July.
According
to
Ramesh,
the
script
works
are
currently
going
on
for
the
film
Samayananda.
Talking
about
the
upcoming
film,
he
dismisses
the
speculation
that
it
revolves
around
Swami
Nithyananda"s
scandalous
sex
tape
with
Tamil
actress.
He
says,
“It"s
not
about
Nityananda
or
any
particular
swamiji.
It"ll
be
a
humorous
take
on
godmen
in
general," the
Bangalore
Times
quotes
him
as
saying.
However,
Ramesh
admits
that
his
character
in
Samayananda
is
a
swamiji
with
a
roving
eye,
who
is
attracted
to
women.
He
says
that
the
movie
will
not
be
a
masala
entertainer.
Rather
it
will
be
portrayed
in
a
humorous
way
and
be
a
pure
entertainer.
It
will
send
out
a
message
too.
It
emphasises
that
women
should
not
be
demeaned
or
exploited
in
the
name
of
religion,
the
Bangalore
Times
reports
him
as
saying.
