her
second

the
actress
tweeted,

Gollapudi
Srinivas
Award
for
best
debut
director
is
being
given
to
Amit
Rai
for
Road
to
Sangam!

The
award
is
given
by
Maruthi
Rao
in
memory
of
his
son
Srinivas,
who
died
in
1992
at
the
age
of
26.
The
Annual
Gollapudi
Srinivas
National
award
consists
of
a
memento
and
a
whopping
cash
prize
of
Rs
1.50
lakh.
It
is
meant
to
recognise
the
talent
of
the
Best
Directorial
Debut.
This
year,
the
award
goes
to
Amit
Rai
for
his
directorial
debut
venture
Road
to
Sangam.
Divya
Spandana
will
compere
the
show
and
Bollywood
actor
Anil
Kapoor
will
present
the
award
to
Amit
Rai
tonight
(12th
August)
at
a
function
in
Chennai.
Vidya
Balan
and
Madhur
Bhandarkar
will
grace
the
occasion.
