Ramya teaming up with Chiranjeevi

Golden girl Ramya, who is busy cheering for Royal Challengers of Bangalore in the IPL-3, seems to be returning to shooting even before the completion of the IPL matches. The Kannada actress has reportedly signed to star in the movie Dhandam Dhashagunam. According to sources, she is teaming up with Chiranjeevi Sarja for the movie.

Earlier, it was reported that actor Sudeep would act and direct the movie Dandam Dashagunam for his producer Shankare Gowda. Now he is said to have been replaced by Chiranjeevi for this project because his friend-turned-foe Dinesh Gandhi, who has produced the movie Veera Madakari, had registered the title Dhandam Dhashagunam in concern for him, but later he had sold it to different producer.

According to the DNA After Hrs, producer Ganesh has bought the rights of the title. Now, K Maadesha will be directing the flick Dhandam Dhashagunam. Another interesting thing about the film is that it is a remake of hit Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha, which featured Suriya and Jyothika in lead roles.
