Someone tried to blackmail me: says Ratnaja

The photo of actress Amoolya (Amulya) kissing Premism director Ratnaja has shocked Amoolya fans as well as Kannada film industry. The latest buzz on the issue is that a person named Vijaya Krishna tried to blackmail the director by asking him to pay Rs 1 crore, but he released the photo to press when he refused to pay him money.

In a telephonic conversation with the Bangalore Mirror, the director himself has agreed that Vijaya Krishna called him over phone on May 14 demanded for money. “Someone tried to blackmail me. He asked me for my email ID. I did not respond to him. I warned him that if he called again I would file a police complaint. He called once more and I told my advocate," the Bangalore Mirror reports Ratnaja as saying over phone.

However, Vijaya did not respond to his advocate's calls and text messages. When asked about why he did not file a complaint against him, Ratnaja said, “I didn"t complain earlier because the actress would also be put to trouble for the act of some pervert."

Meanwhile, sources claim that there are total of ten pictures and a video featuring Ratnaja and Amoolya engaged in romance. Among the ten photographs, nine are nude pictures of Amoolya and one is a smooching photo. They were said to be shot at a hotel in Belgaum on September 06, 2009.
