Shatrughan, Ambareesh to attend Vishnu Film Fest

Actor Aniruddha Jatkar, the son-in-law of late actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan, has said that Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha and Ambareesh are attending the Dr. Vishnuvardhan Film Festival, which will be held between 17th and 19th September. He added that Vishnu's 12 best movies like Nagarahavu, Simhadriya Simha etc will be screened for three days at Inox Garuda Mall in Bangalore.

Aniruddha, who has taken complete responsibility of the Film Fest and other events held on Vishnu's 60th birthday, was addressing the press conference organised by Dr. Bharathi Vishnu at her Jayanagar residence on Wednesday. Talking about the Vishnu Film Festival, Aniruddha said, "In memory of Vishnuvardhan, we're organising Vishnu Film Fest on his 60th birthday and his 12 best films like Nagarahavu, Simhadriya Simha, Bandhan etc. will be screened at Inox Garuda Mall in Bangalore."

Talking about the booking theatres at Gandhinagar area, the Kannada actor said, "All the theatres were booked at this area. So we had to settle down with Inox at Garuda Mall. Tickets will be free for the audience. Fever 104 FM radio is holding a contest and winners of the contest will get free passes to watch the cinema at the theatre."

He added, "We've planned to honour a few of producers, directors and artistes those who have worked with Dr. Vishnu. Four movies will be screened per day for three days at Inox. Screening of each film will witness the director, producer and 5 artistes of that film sitting together and watching it again."

Aniruddha further said, "Shrimathi Puttanna Kanagal will inaugurate the Vishnu Film Fest on 17th Sept. Vishnu's close friends like Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha and rebel star Ambareesh will attend the valedictory function on 19th Sept. Several South Indian celebs and Political leaders will be present on the occasion."

However, Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan and senior Kannada actor and Vishnu's close friend Shivaram requested the media to give their suggestions to celebrate Vishnu's 60th birthday in a meaningful way.
