Shruti Hassan records first Kannada song

It is official that superstar Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti Hassan has recorded her first Kannada song on Sunday. She has sung the song 'Nenapidhu Nenapidhu...'for Puneet Rajkumar starrer Prithvi. The song is a racy duet and Manikanth Khadri has composed music for it, says producer NS Rajkumar.

Actress-turned-singer Shruti has finished recording her portion for the song 'Nenapidhu Nenapidhu...' "She came to the studio at 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon. We had sent her the track in a CD a few days ago. She was extremely comfortable and recorded the song with ease. It took her two hours and she's done a great job," the DNA quotes NS Rajkumar as saying.

After recording the song, the Luck star called Puneet Rajkumar over phone and spoke to him about the movie. Talking to the crew members of the movie, she even said that she would be ready to act in Kannada if she is presented with a good script, says the producer.
