Sudeep playing villain in SS Rajamouli's Eega

Kannada actor Sudeep has played an important role in Ram Gopal Varma's Telugu movie Rakta Charitra. The Sandalwood star is now acting in another Telugu film. But this time he is playing full-fledged role in director SS Rajamouli's forthcoming flick Eega.

Eega is an experimental movie of SS Rajamouli, which has loads of computer graphics. The entire film is told in Eega"s (Fly) point of view. Rajamouli has revealed it on his Twitter page today. The director tweeted, "Sudeep agreed to act in Eega as antagonist. (I) loved his style in Rann. Finally, Eega is moving forward. (I) am very excited."

Rajamouli has already started shooting for Eega, which is said to be one of the biggest graphical films in Tollywood. He has reportedly used high-end digital camera to shoot some of the key scenes. Sudeep has recently visited Hyderabad and completed filming for his portion in the film.

Sudeep, who was keeping mum on the issue, has confirmed the news on his Twitter page after Rajamouli announced it on his account. Sudeep tweeted, "I'm quiet excited to do Rajmouli's 'Eega'. Its a full-fledged lead role and not a guest appearance." He thanked Rajamouli for giving him a chance. He further tweeted, “Thanks to Rajamouli for the trust and respect he showered when I met him. I'm dedicating this progress and film to all my fans n friends, who always stood by me."

However, Sudeep has already finished the shooting of his directorial venture Kempe Gowda. He will start the shooting for producer Dwarakish's Production No 47 from tomorrow (November 19). According to the executive producer, he will shoot an item number for the film on Wednesday.
