Sudeep says, “I am quitting acting soon.”

Actor-turned-director Sudeep has made a big name in South Indian cinema. In recent years, he has left his mark in Bollywood cinema too. Now, lot of recognition and offers from Bollywood, Telugu and Kannada are coming his way, but Kicha is saying good bye to his acting career.

Earlier, rumours about Sudeep's quitting acting were making rounds in Gandhinagar. Many shocked fans asked him about it on his Twitter and Facebook accounts. The Kannada actor has confirmed the news by replying them. He tweeted, "Yes. You'v heard it rite n it aint a rumor. I am quittin acting soon. Thats th reason I'v reduced on signin films."

Sudeep is yet to reveal the reason for his decision of biding farewell to acting. But Kicha's sudden decision has shocked many of his fans. Disappointed fans are sending messages to him through his accounts on micro blogging sites requesting him not to quit cinema. His fan named Hemanth tweeted, "Kicha sudeep, dont quit acting. Then we have to quit watching Kannada movies."

The Kichcha Huchcha star might have stopped signing new projects, but he has got hand movies and he will take more than a year to complete all those movies. Currently, Sudeep is shooting for producer Dwarakish's upcoming film, which is tentatively titled Production No 47, and Kempe Gowda. He will start filming for Kanwarlal and Telugu movie Eega. His Bollywood flick Rakta Charitra 2 is releasing this Friday. In addition to these films, he has few other Kannada and Bollywood films in the line up.
