Popular
writer
Taslima
Nasreen,
who
is
exiled
from
Bangladeshi,
has
slammed
the
reports
that
she
had
written
the
article,
which
created
violence
in
Shimoga
and
Hassan
towns,
for
any
Kannada
newspaper.
She
said
that
she
was
shocked
to
know
that
it
was
provoked
by
an
article
written
by
her.
Speaking
to
PTI
today,
she
said,
"The
incident
that
occurred
in
Karnataka
on
Monday
shocked
me.
I
learned
that
it
was
provoked
by
an
article
written
by
me
that
appeared
in
a
Karnataka
newspaper.
But
I've
never
written
any
article
for
any
Karnataka
newspaper
in
my
life.
Nasreen
also
said
that
she
had
never
mentioned
that
Prophet
Muhammad
was
against
burkha
in
any
of
her
writings.
So
she
claimed
that
it
was
a
distorted
story
and
a
deliberate
attempt
to
malign
her
and
to
misuse
her
writings
to
create
disturbance
in
the
society.
However,
she
wished
peace
would
prevail.
