Thyagaraju denies pressurising Saiprakash

Producer-cum-financier Thyagaraju, who was the distributor for Shivaraj Kumar and Meera Jasmine starrer film Devaru Kotta Thangi, has denied the claims made by director Saiprakash before attempting suicide. He said that he had not pressurised Saiprakash to repay the money due to him.

Earlier, producer Joe Simon had said that before taking tablets, the Kannada filmmaker had sent an SMS from his mobile to him. The message stated, "Thyagu is pressuring me to return his money. So I have lost all the hopes and I'm committing suicide."

Now, Thyagaraju, who is facing financial problems to release his own film Ullasa Uthsaha starring Ganesh, has denied the claims of pressurising Saiprakash for money. Thyagaraju says, "I've also suffered losses on account of distributing some films. I had financed Saiprakash for releasing his film. He had even promised to return the money within a few days."
