Upendra to star in Guru's Director's Special

One man, who will always be under the Hawk eye of Gandhi Nagar gossip mongers, is Real star Upendra. Be it in acting or directing, he is the darling of gossipers. Now, the latest buzz about Uppi is that he will be seen in Guruprasad's upcoming movie Director's Special. The Uppi-Guru combo news is spreading like wildfire at all the corners of Sandalwood.

Earlier, director Guruprasad had roped in comedian Komal Kumar for the lead role in movie Director's Special after he split from Jaggesh after the movie Eddelu Manjunatha. But Komal opted out of the project by stating that he would not be able to do justice to the role.

Mata and Eddelu Manjunatha fame director Guruprasad, who is known for satirical comedy movies with double-entendre touch, has now taken the subject on the in and outs of Gandhi Nagar (Sandalwood). In his previous movies, Gandhi Nagar was just a part of his stories, but now he has taken it as a lead story.

Uppi, who loves doing different kinds of role, might enjoy working with Guruprasad's Director's Special. He had acted as a director, in his first film A. He is said to be playing the same kind of role in this movie as well.
