held
at
Dharmastala
Manjunatha
Kalyana
Mantapa
Basavangudi
in
Bangalore
on
Monday
(January
11,
2010).
The
pooja
started
at
7.00
am
and
Vishnu's
adopted
son
Shridhar
performed
the
rituals.
Dr
Vishnu
family
offered
flowers
and
conveyed
their
regards
to
him.
Bharathi
Vishnuvardhan,
two
adopted
daughters
and
their
husbands
attended
the
Pooja.
Amidst
the
chanting
of
Vedas,
Vishnu
family
held
the
pooja
of
Lord
Narsimha
Swamy,
the
deity
of
Vishnu's
home.
Several
film
actors,
technicians
and
directors
also
conveyed
their
regards
to
late
Dr.
Vishnu
by
offering
flowers
to
his
photo.
Thousands
of
Vishnuvardhan
fans
from
Haasan,
Mandya,
Mysore
and
Chitradurga
had
come
to
attend
the
event,
but
the
entry
for
his
fans
was
prohibited.
So
the
disappointed
fans
moved
to
National
College
ground,
where
the
blood
and
eye
donation
camp
was
organised.
