Kannada
actor
Darshan
has
once
again
suffered
a
severe
set
back
at
the
court.
The
Challenging
star,
who
was
arrested
under
the
charges
of
domestic
violence,
was
expected
to
get
bail
at
the
Sessions
Court,
but
judge
BR
Budihal
has
rejected
the
Sandalwood
star's
bail
plea
today
(September
20).
Earlier,
Darshan's
lawyer
SK
Venkatareddy
had
pleaded
the
Sessions
Court
judge
to
issue
bail
to
the
actor
by
considering
Vijayalakshmi's
willingness
for
reconciliation
with
her
husband.
But
public
prosecutor
SC
Agasimani
had
opposed
issuing
the
bail
to
him.
After
hearing
their
arguments,
judge
BR
Budihal
reserved
the
judgment
for
today.
The
Sessions
Court
judge
has
rejected
Darshan's
bail
application
today.
In
his
21
pages
order,
judge
Budihal
has
explained
reasons
for
rejecting
the
actor's
plea.
But
Darshan's
attorney
Venkatareddy
has
planned
to
appeal
in
High
Court
on
Wednesday
for
the
bail.
However,
Darshan
was
arrested
on
September
9
after
his
wife
Vijayalakshmi
alleged
that
he
assaulted
her
and
threatened
to
kill
her
and
her
son.
Later,
his
wife
retracted
her
statement
in
the
court
on
Monday,
September
12.
But
his
bail
plea
was
rejected
on
September
14
by
the
First
Additional
Chief
Metropolitan
Magistrate
Venkatesh
Hulagi.
