Aindrita Ray's loss is Nakshatra's gain

Kannada actress Aindrita Ray is said to have been replaced by another Kannada actress Nakshatra, as the heroine of the upcoming Tamil film. Director John Devaraj is said to have dumped Andy from his next project because he thinks that she is unsuitable and unimpressive for the role.

Aindrita Ray was earlier roped in to star alongside actor Nakul in John Devaraj's Tamil movie. She had attended the photo shoot and had even appeared for the shooting of the film. “But when we looked at the rushes, we were not really impressed. So, we have decided to go for an alternative," the Chirtraloka.com quotes John as saying.

Now, Nakshatra, who is the daughter of Actress Sumithra and director D. Rajendra Babu, has been roped in to play the female lead in yet-to-be titled movie. She is acting in Malayalam film Vaidooryam, for which she has almost completed the shooting. She has another project in Tamil titled Doo.
