Bharathi announces Dr. Vishnuvardhan Cricket Cup

Actress Dr. Bharathi Vishnuvardhan has announced the Dr. Vishnuvardhan Cricket Cup will be held in Bangalore in the month of July. The results of the tournament will be announced on September 18. The winners will be given the trophy on the same day, which is the birthday of late Kannada actor Dr. Vishnuvardhan.

Dr. Bharathi Vishnu held a press conference to announce state level tennis ball cricket tournament at Press Club of Bangalore on Wednesday afternoon. She said that the matches for Dr Vishnuvardhan Cup would be played on Sundays at Jayanagar National College grounds from July to September 2011.

However, seniors actors Shivaram and Aniruddh were also present at the press meet. Dr. Bharathi added that best bowler, batsman, umpire and fielder would be honoured with trophies. All these prizes would be given to winners at the final event held on September 18.
