Chetan
Kumar

actor,
who
shot
to
fame
with
Aa
Dinagalu,
was
in
exile
after
the
back
to
back
failures
of
his
Birgugaali,
Suryakanthi,
and
his
Mareyalaare
was
shelved
midway
through
the
shooting.
However,
he
is
ready
to
make
his
comeback
with
his
next
project
titled
Odeyar,
which
is
produced
by
former
underworld
don
Muthappa
Rai.
Reports
say
that
Chetan
Kumar
narrated
the
storyline
to
Muthappa
Rai
at
a
private
function
and
told
his
idea
of
casting
him
in
the
film.
The
founder
of
Jai
Karnataka
Kannada
Association
without
a
second
thought
gave
a
nod
to
act
in
Odeyar
and
also
came
forward
to
produce
the
forthcoming
Kannada
film.
Interestingly,
Chetan
himself
has
penned
the
story
and
screenplay
and
has
taken
the
responsibility
of
directing
the
movie.
The
actor
says
that
Muthappa
Rai
has
a
meaty
role.
In
fact,
he
is
the
real
hero
of
the
film.
Actress
Karishma
Bharadwaj,
who
was
paired
up
with
him
in
Birugaali,
is
teaming
up
with
Chetan
again.
Manikanth
Kadri
is
said
to
be
scoring
the
music
for
Odeyar.
