Producer
Geetha
Krishna
has
slammed
the
reports
that
his
film
Coffee
Shop
is
a
dubbed
movie.
He
says
that
the
reports
are
baseless
rumours
and
Coffee
Shop
is
an
original
film.
He
has
already
approached
the
court
for
seeking
justice
against
stopping
its
publicity
and
got
judgment
passed
on
his
side.
A
few
months
ago,
the
Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerece
(KFCC)
had
issued
the
publicity
clearance
to
the
movie
Coffee
Shop.
But
the
KFCC
had
recently
sent
a
notice
to
newspapers
like
Udayavani
and
Kannada
Prabha
to
restrain
publishing
the
advertisement
of
the
film
after
receiving
a
complaint
saying
that
it
is
a
dubbed
movie.
Geetha
Krishna
appealed
a
local
court
in
Bangalore,
which
has
passed
the
judgment
in
favour
of
him.
"The
court
has
passed
judgement
favouring
me
after
perusing
all
the
objections.
I
had
filed
an
affidavit
and
later
the
Secretary
of
the
KFCC
has
also
filed
an
affidavit
giving
an
assurance
that
they
will
not
be
in
anyway
act
to
hamper
the
release
or
promotion
of
the
film," the
Chitraloka.com
quotes
him
as
saying.
However,
the
producer
claims
that
he
has
always
been
against
remakes
and
dubbed
films.
He
had
even
hit
a
big
controversy
in
the
Telugu
film
industry
when
he
raised
his
voice
against
the
remake
and
dubbing
culture.
Now,
he
is
very
upset
with
the
false
reports
that
his
film
Coffee
Shop
is
a
dubbed
movie.
Addressing
the
press
meet
on
Monday,
Geetha
Krishna
said,
“Coffee
Shop
is
not
a
dubbed
movie.
It
is
an
original
film."
