It's coming home for Anushka Shetty

Bangalore girl Anushka Shetty is a big name in Tamil and Telugu film industries. Having her roots in Karnataka, she has not acted in Kannada films till date, which has been a disappointing factor for the Kannadigas. Well, the actress, who told before that she is waiting for a right script to make her entry to the Sandalwood, is ready to make them happy, as she is all set to make her debut.

Anushka Shetty has recently been approached by the makers of Bulbul to pair up Darshan in the upcoming Kannada film. The actress is in talks and she is yet to seal the deal. The 30-year-old, who gets Rs 1 crore per film, might reduce her remuneration, claims a report. Producer-director Dinakar Toogudeepa has admitted that he has offered her the female lead character and talks are in early stage.

Bulbul is said to be a remake of Telugu superhit movie Darling, which starred Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The Kannada version of the movie is directed by MD Sridhar.
