Darshan back in jail after being discharged from hospital

Challenging Star Darshan has been discharged from the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases (RGICD), where he was undergoing treatment. The police have taken the popular Kannada actor into their custody and have taken him to the Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bangalore today (September 21).

The Kranthiveera Sangolli Rayanna star, who was suffering from jaundice and asthma, was admitted to the RGICD on September 10 just a day after he was arrested. Hospital Director Dr Sashidhar Buggi told PTI, "We have taught him how to take medicines orally. He is fit enough now and has been discharged."

However, Darshan was arrested on September 9 following his wife Vijaylakshmi's complaint that he assaulted her and threatened to kill her. Although she retracted her statement later, the actor was denied bail at the Sessions Court and Magisterial court. Now, he has moved to the Karnataka High Court praying for bail.
