By Ramchander

Goddess Durga seems to have finally granted Challenging star Darshan's wish. The Karnataka High Court on Friday has issued the conditional bail to the Kannada actor, who was arrested on the charges of assaulting and threatening to kill his wife Vijaylakshmi.

Justice BV Pinto, who had adjourned the case and directed the Special Public Prosecutor Chandramouli to file objection against the Sandalwood star's bail plea in next 14 days on September 22, granted bail on the condition that he should furnish a personal bond of Rs 25,000 and one surety for like sum.

The HC has also directed him not to tamper with witnesses/evidence and asked to appear before the court along with his wife Vijayalakshmi on October 13. Darshan was arrested for allegedly assaulting and threatening his wife on September 9. Despite his wife withdrawing her complaint, his bail plea was rejected by the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court and Sessions court.

Meanwhile, Darshan, who is expected to release this evening, will leave to Dharmasthala with his family. They will also visit Tirupathi, says a source.
