Deepika on replacing Daisy Shah in Darshan's Chingari

Actress Deepika Kamaiah has replaced actress Daisy Shah in Challenging star Darshan's upcoming movie Chingari. The Bangalore model has revealed that the film unit was not happy with Daisy's performance. She says that she suits the role of Darsha's love interest in the movie better.

In an interview with DNA, Deepika Kamaiah opened up on replacing Daisy Shah in the film Chingari. "The director informed me that I was replacing Daisy. I've heard that the crew wasn't happy with Daisy's performance. Moreover, I suited the role better. I am glad I got the opportunity to work in this film," the DNA reports as the model as telling.

However, Deepika, who has already acted in the Tamil film Aanmai Thavarael, says that she wanted to debut with a big star in Kannada and she is very happy to debut with Darshan. Her first Sandalwood film Chingari is about human-trafficking. She says that she is playing a strong role in the movie.
