Ganesh teaming up with Amala Paul for Mynaa remake

Golden star Ganesh is reportedly teaming up with Tamil actress Amala Paul for his next movie, which will be a remake of the hit Tamil movie Mynaa. This Kannada remake will be produced by K Manju and directed by Prabhu Soloman, who has directed the original film in Tamil. It is said that Ganesh-Amala combo movie will be launched on May 23 in Bangalore.

Tamil film Mynaa is a romantic drama that features Vidarth and Amala Paul in the lead roles. It is a journey of love and the story is about two lovers. It was the biggest hit in the Tamil film industry and was a trend setting film. Now, its remake in Kannada will have actor Ganesh as the hero. Amala Paul is said to have given her consent to star alongside the Kannada actor.

It is reported that Amala Paul has handful of offers in Tamil. So she had rejected this Kannada project due to her dates issue. But she is now said to have accepted to star in the remake. Meanwhile, Ganesh is also busy with the promotional works of his latest movie Kool. He would start working on this film after the release of Kool. The film unit will hold the shooting of first schedule in Mysore after its muhurtha in Bangalore on May 23.
