Jackie Shroff roped in for Puneet Rajkumar's Anna Bond

Jackie Shroff has signed yet another Kannada movie. The Bollywood actor, who was seen in a couple of Sandalwood movies, has been roped in to play a key role in Puneet Rajkumar's Anna Bond.

Sources say that director Suri wanted to cast a prominent actor, as it is a powerful role. Hence, he approached Jackie Shroff. The Bollywood star happily agreed to act in Anna Bond, add sources. However, an unconfirmed report says that the 51-year-old actor will be seen in the role of a baddie.

Jackie Shroff was earlier seen in Master Kishen's Care of Footpath and Lucky Shankar's Zamana. Meanwhile, the shooting of Anna Bond is in brisk progress. The movie starring Puneet Rajkumar, Priyamani and Nidhi Subbaiah is being made on Dr Rajkumar's production Poornima Enterprises and produced by Smt. Parvathamma Rajkumar. The movie is expected to hit the screens in April 2012.
