Kannada
actor
Jaggesh
may
not
be
able
to
contest
the
election
for
the
president
post
of
the
KFPA
(Kannada
Film
Producers
Association).
According
to
the
norms
of
the
KFPA,
a
contestant
should
be
a
member
of
association.
Sources
say
that
the
comedian
is
neither
a
producer
nor
a
member
of
the
association.
It
was
reported
earlier
that
Jaggesh
would
be
contesting
the
Producer
Association's
election
to
be
held
on
the
first
week
of
May.
Sources
now
claim
that
there
are
very
less
chances
of
him
contesting
the
election.
Although
he
is
associated
with
many
projects,
he
has
not
produced
any
film.
It
was
his
wife
Parimala
Jaggesh
was
the
producer
of
many
of
his
films.
As
per
the
KFPA
rules
and
regulations,
a
contestant
of
the
elections
must
be
a
member
of
the
association.
The
member
may
be
an
individual
or
a
partner.
Jaggesh
has
not
produced
either
individually
or
in
partnership
with
anyone.
Moreover,
his
wife
is
also
not
a
member
of
the
KFPA.
However,
producer
Munirathna
is
another
contender
and
he
may
occupy
the
top
seat,
if
Jaggesh
is
ineligible
to
contest
election.
Now,
it
should
be
seen
whether
the
KFPA
norms
will
now
allow
the
comedy
actor
to
become
a
member
and
contest
the
election.
