Producer
K
Manju
has
quit
his
position
as
the
Vice
President
of
the
distributor
sector.
He
has
officially
forwarded
his
resignation
letter
to
the
KFCC
(Karnataka
Film
Chamber
of
Commerce).
Sources
say
that
the
producer
is
very
upset
with
the
single
handed
decision
taken
by
Basanth
Kumar
Patil
in
accepting
the
resignation
of
producer
Rockline
Venkatesh.
Rockline
Venkatesh
was
unhappy
with
Basanth
Kumar
Patil's
functioning.
So
the
producer
had
tendered
his
resignation
at
the
KFCC
on
6th
April.
But
the
KFCC
President
had
accepted
his
letter
without
consulting
other
members
of
the
Executive
Committee.
Sources
claim
that
K
Manju
was
very
upset
with
this
decision
and
decided
to
quit
his
post.
The
members
of
the
Executive
Committee
are
also
not
happy
with
the
working
style
of
Basanth
Kumar
Patil
from
a
long
time.
In
2010,
20
members
had
rebelled
against
him
by
tendering
their
resignation.
But
Rebel
star
Ambareesh
had
intervened
and
calmed
down
the
situation.
However,
the
issue
of
Rockline
Venkatesh's
resignation
letter
has
now
irked
the
Executive
Committee
members
again.
They
are
said
to
be
deeply
hurt
by
the
arbitrary
decision
taken
by
the
KFCC
President.
They
are
said
to
be
planning
to
quit
their
membership
soon
and
protest
against
Basanth
Kumar
Patil.
