Karnataka Bulldozers beat Mumbai Heroes at CCL

The Karnataka Bulldozers defeated the Mumbai Heroes in the first match of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) T20 held in Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Saturday night. Sudeep headed Kannada actors' team chased 158 runs' target set by Bollywood stars for the loss of 3 wickets in 18.1 overs.

Due to rains, the match was delayed by two hours and started at 9 pm. Sudeep won the toss and chose to field first. Suniel Shetty"s team took to bat first and Arbaaz Khan was caught out for the first ball in the first over of the match. Later, the B-Town stars played well and collected 157 for the loss of four wickets. However, the bad performance in bowling by Karnataka Bulldozers team added 47 extra runs to their score.

The Karnataka Bulldozers later started batting. Although the team lost two wickets in the first five overs, Dhruv Sharma and Rajeeva batted well and easily scored 81 in the first 10 overs. After the wicket of Rajieeva, Sudeep partnered with Dhruv and with his magnificent batting he registered a victory over the Mumbai Heroes in just 18.1 overs.

It was an unforgettable event because hundreds of stars from both Bollywood and Sandalwood had gathered at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Ambareesh, Sumalatha, Tara, Doddanna, Rockline Venkatesh, Shivaraj Kumar and many others were present on the occasion.
