bilingual
movie
Shikari
with
condition
that
he
would
dub
for
both
Malayalam
and
Kannada
versions.
Recently,
the
actor
has
done
the
dubbing
in
his
own
voice
for
the
film
in
Kochi.
Earlier,
Mammootty
had
got
several
offers
to
star
in
Sandalwood
projects,
but
he
had
turned
them
all
down
stating
that
he
would
act
only
when
he
will
get
good
story.
But
he
could
not
say
no
to
Abhay
Simha
when
he
approached
him
with
the
story
of
Shikari.
The
Mallu
star
was
impressed
by
his
story
and
accepted
to
star
in
the
film
Shikari.
Meanwhile,
he
had
put
some
conditions
before
signing
it.
One
among
them
was
dubbing
for
Kannada
version.
Recently,
he
has
done
it
successfully
in
Kochi.
He
has
already
completed
the
dubbing
for
Malayalam
version.
The
movie
Shikari
revolves
around
the
experiences
of
a
software
engineer.
Mammotty
plays
double
roles
in
the
film
and
he
has
given
life
to
both
the
characters,
says
the
director.
Meanwhile,
he
has
also
dubbed
in
his
own
voice
for
both
the
roles
in
both
the
versions
of
the
film.
However,
Shikari
has
been
shot
in
beautiful
locations
of
Bangalore,
Mysore
and
at
a
village
in
Theerthahalli
Taluk.
Poonam
Bajwa,
Audithya,
Mohan,
Neenasam
Aswath,
Achyutha,
Sihi
Kahi
Chandru
and
Suresh
Krishna
are
in
the
cast.
The
film
is
said
to
be
releasing
in
the
first
week
of
April.
