Mariya Monica Susayraj sentenced to three years in jail

Kannada actress Monica a.k.a. Maria Susairaj has been sentenced to three years in jail, while her boyfriend Emile Jerome Mathew to 10 years imprisonment in the murder case of Neeraj Grover murder case. Since the actress has already spent three years in imprisonment, she has been released and asked to pay 50,000 as penal fee.

Mariya Monica Susayraj was arrested along with her fiancee Naval Officer Jerome Mathew for allegedly murdering her ex-boyfriend Neeraj Grower on May 7, 2008 at the Dheeraj Solitaire apartment in Malad, Mumbai. Now, a Mumbai court has sentenced them imprisonment.

However, Neeraj Grover's father Amarnath and mother Neelam are not happy with the judgment issued by the Mumbai court. They call it a sheer injustice and they have decided to appeal in a higher court demanding a more severe punishment for Jerome and Maria.
