Hat-trick
hero
Shivaraj
Kumar's
99th
film
Mylari,
which
was
released
in
129
theatres
across
the
state
on
24th
December,
has
earned
Rs.
5
crores
at
the
Box
Office.
Directed
by
R
Chandru,
the
film
has
recovered
its
production
cost
in
the
first
two
weeks.
The
film
crew
is
all
excited
about
its
huge
success.
Producers
Kanakapura
Srinivas
and
KP
Srikanth
held
a
press
conference
at
Green
House
in
Bangalore
to
share
their
happiness
with
the
media
yesterday
(10th
January).
Addressing
the
media,
KP
Shrikanth
said,
"Chandru
has
written
a
very
good
story.
Before
committing
to
the
film
Mylari,
he
assured
me
to
get
back
the
money
I
was
going
to
invest
on
it.
Now,
I
am
very
happy
that
the
movie
has
earned
more
than
the
amount
we
had
invested
on
it
in
just
two
weeks.
We
have
produced
10
movies
under
our
banner
RS
Productions
and
this
is
the
most
wonderful
movie
among
them.
I
am
sure
that
Mylari
will
complete
100
days
at
the
Box
Office."
Director
R
Chandru
said,
"I'm
very
excited
at
this
moment
because
producer
Kanakapura
Srinivas
himself
has
announced
that
Mylari
has
recovered
its
production
cost
in
two
weeks.
Fifty
percent
of
credit
for
the
success
goes
to
music
and
I
thank
Gurukiran
for
composing
excellent
music
for
the
film.
I
would
also
like
to
thank
Shivanna
for
his
wonderful
acting,
producer
for
his
publicity
works,
camera
man
Chandrashekhar,
choreographer,
costume
designer
and
film
team
members
for
their
effort
in
making
it
big
success."
Distributor
Basha
is
also
very
happy
with
good
opening
of
Mylari.
He
said,
"The
tag-line
of
Mylari
is
Sure
Shot
and
the
film
is
now
running
like
sure
shot
at
all
the
theatres.
Recently,
I
had
visited
Nartaki
theatre
and
I
was
surprised
to
find
80%
of
the
audience
were
ladies.
Besides
this,
it
has
got
huge
response
in
places
like
Bellary,
Hospet
and
Yadgiri
and
its
earning
has
crossed
Rs.
5
crores
excluding
theatre
rents
in
two
weeks."
Gurukiran
said,
"The
reason
behind
the
success
of
the
film
is
its
good
team
work.
RS
Production
has
done
wonderful
job
in
finding
and
organising
good
team
members.
Almost
every
team
member
has
done
an
excellent
job
in
making
it
interesting
on
screen.
I
thank
them
all
on
this
occasion.
Meanwhile,
I
would
also
like
to
thank
the
media
for
its
support
to
boast
the
success
of
the
film."
Shivanna
said,
"I
was
passing
by
the
bad
phase
of
my
life
in
the
last
two
years.
Now,
the
success
of
Mylari
has
brought
a
new
twist
in
my
career.
So
I
would
like
to
thank
R
Chandru
for
giving
me
a
big
hit.
He
has
given
me
new
energy
to
do
my
100th
movie.
I
would
also
like
to
thank
producers,
other
technicians
and
artistes
for
their
support."
However,
Mylari
has
been
successful
across
the
state
especially
in
the
North
Karnataka.
This
has
brought
smiles
on
the
faces
of
the
producers
and
distributors
of
the
film.
Now,
they
have
planned
to
organise
'Mylari
Vijay
Yatra' in
the
state.
This
yatra
will
start
in
Bellary
and
pass
by
the
cities
like
Hospet,
Hubli,
Belgaum
and
many
other
parts
of
the
Karnataka.
