TV actress arrested for manhandling traffic cop

Kannada small screen actress Mythriya and three of her relatives have been arrested after they manhandled a traffic cop. The incident happened on West of Chord road on Friday, when the traffic cops stopped their car for violating the traffic rules.

Initial reports say that the traffic police halted their car for violating a signal. When they were asked to pay the fine, the actress and her relatives got into an argument with constable Shivakumar, abused and allegedly slapped him.

Later, the Basaveshwaranagar police registered complaints against the five women and arrested them. It is said that they will be in the judicial custody till May 30.

Mythriya has acted in many television soaps and films. Her noted movies are Maalinga, Surya The Great and Hrudaya I Miss You, etc.
