Nithya Menon back to Sandalwood with Jogayya

Nithya Menon, who made her debut in Sandalwood in Santosh Rai Pathaje's Seven O' Clock, is making her comeback to Kannada film industry with Jogayya. The actress has been signed to play the second female lead role in Shivraj Kumar's 100th film.

Reports say that Nithya Menon, who has her hands with many projects in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil, has given the nod to play the key role in Jogayya. The makers of the film, who considered a few actresses, has zeroed in on Nithya, as they felt that she fits the role.

Nithya Menon has done two Kannada films till date. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Shivamani directorial Josh. Since then, the actress kept herself busy in other language films.

However, Prem's Jogayya is progressing at a brisk pace. Producer Rakshita has recently said that the audio of the film will hit the stores soon and the movie will be released in August.
