Actress Pooja Gandhi, who has denied the allegations made by Dr Kiran Thotambailu, has now filed a case against the overseas distributor. The Kannada star has alleged that he is sending her SMSes threatening her life and is also making insulting remarks against her in public.
Pooja Gandhi, who returned from Tirupathi yesterday (1st June), went to the police station with her parents and lodged a complaint to the Joint Commissioner of Police, Alok Kumar. The Police Officer said, “I have assigned the investigation of this case to a police officer. After receiving the report from him, I will take strict action against him."
The Mungaru Male actress added, “I have been receiving threats to my life from Dr. Kiran. He has been publicly making allegations against me. I don't have any relationship with him with regard to any financial affair. Everything is owned by me and my father. I will hold a press meet and clear all his allegations."
On other side, the film distributor is also said to have lodged a complaint against the actress. Meanwhile, the Bangalore police have taken Dr Kiran into their custody for interrogation. However, not much is clear about the relationship between the two.
