Puneet's Hudugru releasing on Dr. Rajkumar's birthday

The upcoming Kannada movie Hudugru, which stars Puneet Rajkumar, Loose Mada a.k.a. Yogish, Srinagar Kitty and Radhika Pandit in the leads, has already completed its shooting and currently, the re-recording works are being held in Bangalore. The producers are reportedly planning to release it on the birthday of late legend Dr. Rajkumar in the last week of April.

Hudugru is a remake of hit Tamil movie Naadodigal, which featured Sasikumar, Vijay Vasanth, Bharani and Ananyaand in the leads. Dumb actress Abhinaya, who acted in the original, is playing the same role in Kannada film too. The Story revolves around four men and two women, who live their life with utmost joy and a goal to achieve.

Hudugru was launched at the Kanteerava Studio in Bangalore on 18th October, just four days after the release of his movie Jackie. Directed by Gaja and Raam fame K Madesha, it has been shot in different parts of Bangalore, Mysore, Chikkade, Chitradurga, Mandya and Melkote. Sathya Hegde has picturisation for the film.

The film is being produced under the banner Vajreshwari Combines. It is the first multi-starrer film for Puneet Rajkumar. The No. One actor of Kannada says that the movie gives equal importance to him, Yogish and Srinagar Kitty and Radhika Pandit has also enough scope to show her acting skills.

The specialty of the movie Hudugru is that Guruprasad is playing a cameo role besides writing dialogues for it. V Harikrishna has scored music. Ramya Barna, Sreenivasa Prabhu, Sudha Belawadi, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Krishna Adiga, Tabala Nani and Vanitha Vasu are in star cast.
