Puneet's Jackie being dubbed in Malayalam

Many Kannada filmmakers seem to have been encouraged and inspired by the huge success of their films in 2010. They are aspiring to touch new horizon in 2011. A few of them are trying to dub their hit movies in other south Indian languages. Suri is one among such aspiring and innovative directors.

Director Suri is all excited with the huge success of his latest movie Jackie, which features Puneet Rajkumar and Bhavana in the leads. Now, he is gearing up to dub the movie in Malayalam. Sources claim that the poster of Malayalam version of Jackie will be released shortly. Producer NS Rajkumar is planning a grand audio release function for Jackie in Cochin.

Suri has already dubbed the movie Jackie in Telugu, which has the same title. The audio of the film has got good response from Telugu audience. The movie was slated to be released on March 18th across Andhra Pradesh, but it has been postponed to April last week due to unavailability of enough number of theatres.

However, NS Rajkumar says that he is not getting desired number of theatres for the Telugu version of Jackie. The reasons for it are that a large number of Telugu films are going to be released this month. Meanwhile, the forth season of IPL cricket is already underway. He hopes to get theatres in the last week of April or first week of May.
