celebrating
his
37th
birthday
today.
The
Kannada
actor
has
huge
number
of
fan
following
across
the
state
and
he
has
cancelled
all
his
shooting
programme
and
staying
at
home
to
celebrate
his
birthday
with
his
fans.
But
the
actor
has
not
charted
out
any
special
programme
on
his
birthday
except
relaxing
at
home.
Puneet
Rajkumar
was
available
on
a
telephonic
conversation
with
the
leading
website
Oneindia
and
he
thanked
his
fans
for
his
overwhelming
success.
The
star
spoke
about
his
37th
birthday
and
his
upcoming
movies
like
Paramathma,
Hudugru
and
the
Telugu
version
of
Jackie.
When
asked
about
his
birthday
plans,
Puneet
Rajkumar
said,
"As
usual,
fans
will
come
to
my
home
and
they
will
cut
cakes.
I
will
stay
at
home
whole
day
and
share
sweets
with
my
fans.
I
have
taken
off
from
the
shooting
of
all
my
upcoming
projects.
So
I
will
be
complete
free
from
all
my
responsibilities
on
this
day." He
added
that
he
would
not
have
any
special
event
orginsed
on
the
day.
Puneet
Rajkumar
is
currently
busy
with
the
shooting
of
important
projects
like
director
Yogaraj
Bhat's
Paramathma
and
K
Madesha's
multistarrer
film
Hudugru,
which
is
a
remake
of
Tamil
hit
flick
Naadodigal.
Talking
about
these
films,
he
said,
"The
shooting
of
these
films
is
making
progress
and
Hudugru
will
be
released
within
five
months
and
Paramathma
will
hit
the
theatres
after
it." He
added
that
the
Telugu
version
of
Jackie
will
also
be
released
very
soon.
However,
the
younger
son
of
late
Dr.
Rajkumar
was
born
on
17th
March
in
1975.
He
started
his
acting
career
as
a
child
artiste
and
debuted
as
a
hero
through
the
movie
Appu,
which
was
a
big
hit
in
2002.
So
far,
he
has
acted
in
nearly
20
Kannada
films.
Appu,
Aakash,
Namma
Basava,
Arasu,
Milana,
Vamshi,
Raaj
-
The
Showman,
Raam
and
Jackie
are
some
of
the
super-hit
films.
He
has
been
honoured
with
a
few
Filmfare,
National
and
State
awards.
