dismissed
the
reports
that
he
is
starring
in
Shivaraj
Kumar's
100th
film
Jogayya,
which
is
directed
by
Prem
and
produced
by
his
wife
actress
Rakshita.
The
legendary
actor
was
recently
in
Bangalore
to
attend
the
special
screening
of
Real
star
Upendra's
movie
Super.
He
confirmed
that
he
was
not
acting
in
much-hyped
Kannada
movie.
It
was
reported
earlier
that
Rajinikanth
was
making
his
guest
appearance
in
the
Kannada
movie
Jogayya,
which
is
the
most-expected
movie
of
the
year
2011.
Sources
had
even
claimed
that
Prem
himself
had
confirmed
his
comeback
to
Kannada
cinema
with
his
upcoming
film.
It
was
even
said
that
Rajini
was
playing
a
'powerful
role'
in
it
and
his
role
would
last
for
five
minutes.
After
watching
Uppi's
Super
at
Renukamba
Mini
Theatre
in
Malleshwaram,
Bangalore,
Rajini
saar
spoke
to
the
media
and
denied
his
role
in
Jogayya.
He
said,
"It's
just
a
rumour
and
I
am
not
acting
in
the
film." Answering
to
a
question
whether
he
would
make
his
comeback
to
Kannada,
he
said,
"I'm
desperate
to
act
in
a
Kannada
films.
But
I'm
not
getting
a
good
script.
I'm
sure
that
I'll
make
my
comeback
to
Kannada
if
I
really
get
a
good
story."
Meanwhile,
Rajinikanth
described
Upendra
as
an
unique
actor-cum-director
in
Indian
film
industry.
He
praised
Uppi
saying,
"Upendra
is
a
great
actor
and
director.
And
his
movie
Super
is
totally
a
different
and
a
new
kind
of
movie.
Meanwhile,
he
appreciated
Super
producer
Rockline
Venkatesh.
He
said,
"Rockline
has
invested
lot
of
money
on
the
film
and
he
is
also
talented
producer.
I
wish
them
good
luck."
