Rajkumar
family
has
raised
its
voice
against
banning
actress
Nikita
from
Kannada
film
industry
after
the
media
across
the
country
criticised
the
act
of
Kannada
film
industry.
Raghavendra
Rajkumar,
Shivrajkumar
and
Puneeth
Rajkumar
have
condemned
the
decision
of
the
Kannada
Film
Producers'
Association
for
banning
the
actress
for
three
years.
In
an
interview
with
the
TOI,
Rajkumar
family
has
dubbed
the
ban
as
an
irresponsible
act
and
they
have
also
insisted
the
producers
to
withdraw
their
ban.
“Banning
an
artiste
is
an
irresponsible
act.
They
have
to
take
back
the
ban
immediately;
otherwise,
the
Kannada
film
industry
will
become
a
laughing
stock
before
other
film
industries.
We
should
not
allow
that
to
happen,"
Raghavendra
told
TOI.
Talking
about
the
unsavoury
episode
involving
Kannada
actor
Darshan,
his
wife
Vijayalakshmi
and
actress
Nikitha,
Shivaraj
Kumar
said,
“It's
a
hasty
decision.
I
don't
approve
of
it.
Banning
an
artiste
is
not
the
solution.
We
are
playing
with
the
future
of
an
artiste.
I
feel
before
taking
such
decisions,
we
should
think
of
the
pros
and
cons."
Puneet
Rajkumar
has
also
termed
the
ban
as
wrong
decision
by
the
Producers'
Association.
“How
can
it
ban
an
artiste?
I
hope
things
will
come
back
to
normal
fast.
There
is
law
and
order
to
take
care
of
certain
issues.
It
is
wrong
to
ban
Nikita
and
also
warn
any
artiste,"
the
TOI
quotes
Puneet
as
saying.
However,
late
veteran
actor
Dr.
Rajkumar's
son
advised
the
Kannada
film
producers
to
concentrate
on
making
some
quality
Kannada
movies.
Meanwhile,
the
first
family
of
Kannada
film
industry
also
prayed
for
the
Darshan
couple"s
quick
recovery
and
that
they
settle
down
in
life
fast.
