Director
Nagashekhar's
latest
film
Sanju
Weds
Geetha,
which
features
Srinagar
Kitty
and
Ramya
in
the
leads,
has
got
a
great
opening
at
the
Box
Office.
The
producers
and
distributors
of
the
movie
were
sacred
that
it
might
face
tough
competition
from
Darshan's
Prince
and
Sudeep's
Kempe
Gowda.
But
it
has
brought
a
smile
upon
their
faces
with
its
grand
collection
in
all
the
centres
across
the
state.
The
music
of
Sanju
Weds
Geetha,
which
has
been
composed
by
Jessi
Gift,
had
created
lot
of
curiosity
among
the
movie
buffs,
who
flocked
the
theatres
on
the
first
day
of
release.
Even
though
the
World
Cup
final
match
was
going
on
the
second
day
on
Saturday,
many
theatres
were
running
houseful.
Now,
the
producers
and
distributors
are
hoping
that
the
word
of
mouth
would
drive
more
number
of
audience
to
theatres.
The
distribution
rights
of
film
for
the
area
Bangalore-Kolar-Tumkur-Chikkaballapur
was
reportedly
first
sold
for
Rs.
1.20
crores,
but
it
was
revised
to
Rs.
1.50
crores
on
the
Saturday.
Distributor
Bhasha
and
the
distributors
of
other
areas
are
now
confident
that
Sanju
Weds
Geetha
would
definitely
return
their
investment
along
with
huge
amount
of
profits.
However,
Srinagar
Kitty
was
desperately
looking
for
big
break.
He
had
lots
of
expectation
from
the
movie
Matte
Mngaru,
but
the
film
bombed
at
the
Box
Office.
Even
Ramya's
recent
films
were
not
successful.
She
was
also
pinning
lots
of
hopes
on
this
film
Sanju
Weds
Geetha.
Director
Nagashekhar's
debut
directorial
venture
Aramane
was
utter
flop.
But
with
the
grand
opening,
Sanju
Weds
Geetha
has
fulfilled
the
dreams
of
trio
and
has
given
a
new
twist
to
their
career.
