Just
months
after
actresses
Ramya
and
Pooja
Gandhi
created
a
lot
of
buzz
in
the
media
over
their
unpaid
dues,
another
Kannada
actress
is
making
news
for
the
same
reason.
It
is
none
other
than
Sharmila
Mandre.
The
Kannada
star
has
decided
to
skip
the
promotional
activities
of
the
movie
Dhan
Dhana
Dhan
until
its
producer
clears
her
dues.
In
an
interview
with
the
DNA
earlier
this
week,
actress
Sharmila
Mandre
said
that
producers
Santhosh
Singh
and
Wasim
D
had
promised
to
settle
her
dues
a
week
before
the
release
of
the
film
Dhan
Dhana
Dhan.
Even
though
the
movie
would
be
released
today
(June
24),
she
had
not
got
any
news
about
her
payment.
Sharmila
Mandre
claimed
that
the
film
bosses
had
to
pay
her
Rs.
4
lakh.
So
she
approached
the
Karnataka
Cine
Artistes'
Association
and
producer
Rockline
Venkatesh,
who
reprimanded
the
producers
and
told
Dhan
Dhana
Dhan
bosses
to
settle
her
dues
a
week
before
its
release.
“I'm
not
going
to
be
part
of
any
promotional
activity
of
the
film
till
they
settle
my
dues,"
the
DNA
quoted
the
actress
as
saying.
However,
Sharmila
Mandre
is
playing
female
lead
alongside
Lovely
star
Prem
Kumar
in
the
movie
Dhan
Dhana
Dhan,
which
has
been
directed
by
Ramnath
Rigvedi.
The
actress
says
that
she
is
going
to
sign
the
film
Khushi
Khushi,
which
features
her
opposite
Prajwal
Devaraj
and
Tharun
Chandra.
