Shivanna's Jogayya scores Rs 9.59 cr in 3 days

Shivaraj Kumar's 100th movie Jogayya has scored Rs 9.59 crores at the Box Office in the first three days. The Prem-directed film might have failed to impress film critics, but its pre-release hype created by the media drove the audience to theatre on its opening weekend. Producer Rakshita hopes that it will do well in coming days too.

On the fan page of Jogayya on Facebook, a post states, “Here is the great news for all Jogayya fans. Jogayya was released on 19th August 2011 and it has earned a whopping 9.59 crores in the first 3 days of release (19th, 20th and 21st August). This is the all time record in the history of kannada cinema. Lets pass this message on and showcase Jogayya on a large canvas."

Jogayya is a big-budget movie and Prem and Rakshita have sold their house to create sound production values in the film. They are hoping that it will become the highest grosser movie of the year 2011. Prem says that Shivanna's 100th film will erase all the records created by Super, Mylari and Jackie and set its own record at the Box Office.
