Shruthi escapes unhurt in a car accident

Kannada actress Shruthi met with a car accident on her way back to Bangalore on Thursday night (January 13). But the Sandalwood star narrowly escaped unhurt in the incident. The accident took place near Nilligere cross in Bellur police limit on NH road and including drive and the star, there were total five people travelling in the star's Innova car.

It is said that Shruthi was returning from Hassan to Bangalore with her mother and two assistants after completing the shooting of her latest Kannada movie. Her driver suddenly applied the break to avoid road hump near Nilligere cross. Meanwhile, a truck, which was coming off Highway, lost control and bumped into the back of a Innova car, in which Kannada actress was travelling.

According to reports, Shruthi and her associates suffered a minor injuries in the accident. No serious injuries were reported. The rear part of the car and and front portion of the truck are destroyed in the incident.
